No app opened, no date picked, no form filled. The promise inside your sentence comes back with a name, a deadline and the effort it will take — and the moment you keep it, it starts counting against every other hour you have. That much works today. Everything after this is where it is going.
You told it one thing in April and another in June, and never set them side by side, because nobody holds their own life in a single view. Something that kept both, and could tell you when you said each, would not have to be clever to be useful. It would only have to remember.
You would say the work is heavy, because that is what heavy feels like. But every night you mentioned sat beside a day you were dreading, and the two lined up. What it offers then is not advice about sleep. It is the evening before.
The spending was never the problem, and being told to spend less would not have helped. What you said about your lunch and what you said about your evenings are months apart in the conversation and one line apart in the explanation.
Not someone else's news. A thing you said you would do, that it never heard the end of — and an offer to let it go if you have changed your mind. Norsu cannot reach you at all today. This is the furthest thing on the page from being built, and it should be the last thing that is.
Everything you have just read waited to be asked, and the one time it spoke first, it spoke to offer letting something go. Anything can talk; almost nothing knows when to stay silent. Attention is the thing Norsu is built to protect, not to compete for — and on an ordinary evening, the whole of it comes to this.
Most AI remembers you as notes it pastes back into a prompt. Norsu holds connected things: what you took on, when you are free, what you keep doing, what you care about, and how those pull against each other.
Each thing it thinks will point back at the words that produced it. You will be able to ask why, see the sentence, and correct it. An assistant you cannot argue with is not one you should trust.
The understanding will live on your device and nowhere else. It is the constraint that makes everything above harder, and the reason to build it at all.
Keeping a promise you made is not the same as making one for you. Every conclusion it reaches, it holds, and waits.
Conversation is the interface, not the database.

لا تطبيق تفتحه، ولا تاريخ تختاره، ولا خانة تملؤها. تمرّ الجملة في حديثك فيلتقط منها ما التزمت به: اسمه، وموعده، وكم يأخذ من وقتك. وما إن توافق حتى يصير رقمًا يُطرح من بقية ساعاتك. هذا وحده يعمل اليوم، وما بعده وعدٌ نسير إليه.
قلت شيئًا في أبريل، وقلت آخر في يونيو، ولم يخطر لك أن تضع أحدهما إلى جوار الآخر؛ فما من أحد يرى عمره كلّه في لوحة واحدة. وشيءٌ يحفظ الاثنين ويعرف متى قيل كلٌّ منهما لا يحتاج ذكاءً ليكون نافعًا، إنما يحتاج ذاكرة.
ستقول: العمل ثقيل، لأنّ هذا ما يشبهه الثقل. لكنّ كل ليلة شكوت منها كانت تسبق يومًا تهابه، والاثنان يتكرّران معًا. وما يعرضه عليك حينئذٍ ليس نصيحةً في النوم، بل المساء الذي قبله.
لم يكن الإنفاق هو العلّة، ولو قيل لك: أنفق أقل، ما نفعك. ما قلته عن غدائك وما قلته عن مساءاتك يفصل بينهما شهور في الحديث، ولا يفصل بينهما إلا سطر في التفسير.
لا بخبرٍ عن غيرك، بل بشيء قلت إنك ستفعله ثم انقطع خبره، ومعه عرضٌ أن يُسقطه عنك إن بدا لك غير ذلك. ولا يستطيع نورسو اليوم أن يبلغك أصلًا؛ وهذا أبعد ما في الصفحة عن التحقّق، وآخر ما ينبغي أن يُبنى منها.
كلّ ما قرأته انتظر أن تسأل، وحين بدأ هو مرّةً واحدة، بدأ ليعرض أن يُسقط عنك شيئًا. الكلام يُحسنه كل شيء، والصمت في موضعه لا يُحسنه إلا القليل. نورسو يُبنى ليصون انتباهك لا ليزاحمك عليه؛ وفي أمسية عادية، ينتهي هذا كلّه إلى هذه الشاشة.
أغلب برامج الذكاء تتذكّرك على هيئة ملاحظات تُعاد إلصاقها في كل مرة. أما نورسو فيحفظ أشياء يشدّ بعضها بعضًا: ما التزمت به، ومتى تفرغ، وما تكرّره، وما يعنيك، وكيف يتزاحم بعضها على وقت واحد.
أي نتيجة يصل إليها تردّك إلى الجملة التي وُلدت منها. تسأله: من أين؟ فيُريك الدليل، وتصحّحه إن أخطأ. ومساعدٌ لا تستطيع مجادلته لا يستحقّ أن تثق به.
الفهم يبقى على جهازك ولا يبرحه. وهذا القيد نفسه هو ما يجعل كل ما سبق أصعب، وهو نفسه سبب بناء نورسو.
أن يحفظ وعدًا قطعتَه أنت شيء، وأن يَعِد عنك شيء آخر. وكلّ ما ينتهي إليه يحمله وينتظر كلمتك.
